Building Permit and Sanction Fees

Basic Building Permit/Sanction fees will be calculated considering the following:-
(20 + Factor from table 1+ Factor from table 2) x A,
Where A is the total area of construction including Stair and Lift Machine Room

Note :: This increase of Rupees 10 for every additional 100Sq.m. of area is increased to a maximum limit of 300.

Note ::

  1. In case of Charitable institution, Govt. Sponsored Educational Institution, Govt. Sponsored Health Care unit and Place of Worship, Prayer for up to maximum limit of 50% of the above fees may be applicable.
  2. In case of development work relating to Charitable institution, Govt. Sponsored Educational Institution, Govt. Sponsored Health Care unit funded entirely by MP/MLA, no permit fees and charges will be levied on the basis of valid paper.
  3. For items which are not covered above that is in table 3, Charges will be levied as may be decided by mayor/MIC time to time.
  4. For use other than residential purpose in a residential class (predominant use ),charges is to levied according to type of use for that portion only.
  5. In addition to the basic scale of fees of sanctioned for the respective category of the building WT,ST & WS shall be realized as per rule.

Note ::

  1. For any development work entirely funded by MP/MLA LAD fund or approved under any Central Govt or State Govt. Scheme for Urban Renewal Project No application fee will be leived.
  2. In case of Charitable institution, Govt. Sponsored Educational Institution, Govt. Sponsored Health Care unit and Place of Worship, Prayer for up to maximum limit of 50% of the above fees may be applicable.
  3. The items which are not covered in above shall be charged as will be decided by Mayor/MIC.

Fees For Drainage Development (New Proposal)

Where A is the total proposed covered area of the Building or Total Land Area whichever is higher.

Total Payable Amt. of Drainage Development Charge is (Rate X Total Covered Area).

Note ::

  1. In case of revalidation /Renewal of the building plan which ware sanctioned after KMC Building rule was adopted for HMC area, Drainage Development Fees Have to be Charged as per above formula.
  2. No Drainage Development Fees will be charged in cases of renovation where no space is generated.

Late Fees
Late fee for renewal of License to be applicable from 1st July
1. Late fee for renewal of License :Rs. 100/- per month or part thereof for L.B.S
2. Late fee for renewal of License Rs. 200/- per month or part thereof for E.S.E.
3. Late fee for renewal of License Rs. 200/- per month or part thereof for Geo-Tech Eng.
4. Late fee for renewal of License Rs. ****/– per month or part thereof for Structural
Reviewer & E.S.E.-I (Combined)
5. Fees for issuing duplicate License in case of Laws/Theft/Damage on production of requisite authentic document Rs. 1200/-

Fees for Internal Deviation

Fees for internal deviation which involves deviation from the sanctioned plan within the sanctioned covered space and external deviation from the sanctioned plan up to a limit of 10% of total sanctioned covered area  which dose not infringe any building rule will be levied us following:-

Fees for Completion certificate
A. For Residential, Educational & Institutional Building

Fees for installation of Lift in existing building U/s 410
1. In case of Residential Building Fees : Rs. 5000/- per Sqm. of ground covered area
(To be used for such purpose)  having authenticate document like sanctioned plan etc.
2. In case of Other than Residencial. : Rs. 12000/- per Sqm. of ground covered area of the lift well including lift loby

Fees for Revised sanction

If any proposed revised plan is submitted in modification to a sanctioned building plan within its validity period then the higher of the following amounts will have to be paid by the applicant for revised sanction :-

  1. The amount of sanction fees including all other charges as per present submitted plan on the basis of present rate in excess of the amount paid during initial sanction.
  2. 25% of the sanction fees including all other charges as per present rate including all other charges as would be applicable from time to time.
  3. If it is found that more than such payable amount is already paid during initial sanction, No Refund will be made.

However at least 25% of the sanction fees including all other charges shall have to be paid for obtaining revised sanction. Other Fees as applicable will also be levied.

Charges for installation of Tower/Antenna/Pole (Subject to NOC from respective authority)

1. Sanction fees for each Tower/Pole Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two Lakhs) only
2. Retention fees for installation of each
Tower/Pole installed without sanction
Rs. 3,00,000/- (Three Lakhs) only

Rate for demolition work

Cost to be realised from person responsible Rs. 12,000 per 100 sqmt.
