The Survey Department is headed by an officer either in the rank of Survey Superintendent or Assistant Engineer who looks after all the multi ferrous activities of the Survey Department. Presently he is supported by one number Sub-Assistant Engineer on full time basis, two numbers of Sub Overseers and one number Draftsman on part time basis.
